ZHONG Fan (1978-) associate researcher and doctor. Zhong’s research focuses on computational biology. His featured accomplishment is to discover overall distribution law of protein abundance among different species which is a successful example of applying meta-analysis and deep mining methodology to proteomics data. Dr. Zhong has been in charge of 1 NSFC project and 1 project of Shanghai Sanitary Bureau and takes part in 2 subprojects of National Major in Diseases Project, 3 subprojects of 973 Program, 1 subproject of 863 Program and 1 subproject of an international cooperation project with research funds of RMB 7.66 million; and published 9 SCI-indexed articles as the first author or corresponding author in international peer-reviewed journals such as Mol Cell Proteomics, J Proteome Res and PLoS One.
